The BSRKC Series is dedicated to providing an environment of sportsmanship and camaraderie while furthering the development of kart racers of all ages and competitive levels. The BSRKC Series also intends to advance our karters into the higher echelons of motorsports through our Series’ namesake and Indy Racing League® Firestone Indy Lights™ Team Owner, Brian Stewart and Brian Stewart Racing."

BSRKC Adds 10 RMC Nationals Trips To Series Highlights
May 13 - The BSRKC Series is proud to announce that ten trips to participate in the Rotax Max Challenge Canadian Nationals in Grand-Mere, Quebec, on August 8-10 have been added to the prizes in the series highlights. These exciting prizes will significantly reduce the cost of competing in the Nationals for the prize winners.

Bulletin: Rotax Age, License and Tire Requirements
May 5 - A new bulletin has been issued to detail the age, license and tire requirements for the Rotax Max Junior, Rotax Mini Max, and Rotax Micro Max classes. Please consult the bulletin if you plan to enter any of these classes. In addition, please remember to check the Regulations page on a regular basis for any changes that may affect you.

Attention Rotax Senior and TAG Racers
April 24 - Please note that Rotax Senior Class contested as per the Rotax Max Challenge Rules races on Saturdays, while the Rotax/TAG Senior Class races on Sundays.
Urgent: Please send an email to Lynda@3SGoKartsInternational.com as soon as possible to specify which Rotax Senior class(es) you are competing in. Your prompt replies via email are appreciated as this will speed up registration on race days and avoid any confusion for you as to which day(s) you will be racing at the tracks. Please see the BSRKC class structure for details on these two classes. The Rotax Senior Class number registration lists will be separated accordingly as we receive your confirmation and replies.

Entry Forms and Race Day Schedules - Sutton and Leamington
April 20 - Entry forms and race day schedules are now available for Race 1 at the 3-S Go Karts track at Sutton and Race 2 at the Point Pelee Karting track at Leamington. Please see the 2008 Schedule page for links to these documents.

Micro Max and Mini Max Classes on MG Tires
April 2 - With agreement from SRA Karting International, the tire rules have been amended for the Rotax Micro Max and Mini Max classes in both the BSRKC Series and the Simcoe Kart Club. Effective immediately, MG Tires will be the spec tires for these classes at BSRKC and SKC. Bulletins will be released shortly to amend the Supplementary Regulations accordingly. Updates to Rotax Classes
March 27 - In response to numerous requests, BSRKC has added the Rotax Micro Max class to its class structure. Rotax Micro Max will race on Saturdays. The Rotax Mini Max regulations have also been clarified. Please read the press release to see the details of the regulations for these classes. >> Read more

Rotax Mini Max Minimum Weight Changed
March 25 - The minimum weight for Rotax Mini Max has been changed from 255 pounds to 280 pounds as specified by SRA. >> Bulletin

The Calm Before the Storm - Rocket Robbie Benefit
March 21 - On Saturday April 5 and Sunday April 6, 401 Mini-Indy Indoor Go Karts and Rick McMullen Sr. will offer everyone 2 days of unlimited laps for just $49.95/day which includes a 2 year Biannual Membership. Your entry fee is your donation to Rocket Robbie’s Rehabilitation Fund. BSRKC 2008 Supplementary Regulations Released
March 20 - The 2008 Supplementary Regulations for the Brian Stewart Racing Karting Championship Series are now available on the 2008 Regulations page.

SKC at Performance World Show
March 7 - Simcoe Kart Club, a host club for the 2008 Brian Stewart Racing Karting Championship Series, will have a display at the Performance World Custom Car and Truck Show at the International Centre on March 14-16. >> Read more

Accommodations Available for All 2008 BSRKC Events
March 6 - BSRKC has arranged discounts at convenient hotels for each 2008 race event. The huge popularity of the series means that rooms will go fast. Act quickly to ensure you get yours! Please see the 2008 Schedule page for links to the accommodation information.

BSRKC 2008 Supplementary Regulations
February 29 - Now that ASN Canada has released the 2008 National Karting Regulations, BSRKC is working hard to deliver its Supplementary Regulations as quickly as possible. We expect to release the Supplementary Regulations on or before March 18, 2008. We have provided links to the 2008 ASN regulations on the 2008 Regulations page.

BSRKC 2008 Class Structure Changes
February 25 - As a part of becoming a Rotax Max Challenge qualifier series, BSRKC has added Rotax DD2 as an official class in 2008. Also, due to the low number of registrations, the Senior Medium class is no longer an official class. Those that have registered their numbers for Senior Medium will have their registered numbers saved for the special event race at Shannonville Motorsport Park.

BSRKC Gains Rotax Max Challenge Qualifying Series Status
February 25 - SRA Karting International has announced that the Brian Stewart Racing Karting Championship has been selected as one of the Rotax Max Challenge qualifying series for Ontario for 2008. Drivers will be able to qualify through the BSRKC to race at the Rotax Max Challenge Canadian final at Grand-Mere, Québec, and aim for a berth at the RMC Grand Finals. BSRKC 2008 Race 5 Confirmed for Windsor
February 25 - The Windsor Karting Grand Prix has been confirmed as Race 5 of the 2008 Brian Stewart Racing Karting Championship Series. This high profile street race will run on the same weekend as the Detroit Indy Grand Prix across the river, and promises to draw a large international audience.

SKC 2007 Year End E-zine Available
February 19 - The 2007 version of the popular Simcoe Kart Club year end magazine and calendar is now available online in e-zine format. The SKC e-zine contains photos from each of the 2007 BSRKC events. Click here to view the e-zine.

BSRKC Registrations Reach 230
February 14 - Effective today, February 14, (Happy Valentine’s Day everyone!), there are now 230 kart numbers registered in the Brian Stewart Racing Karting Championship Series. In March 2007 we had 105. Based on these figures the BSRKC Series anticipates in excess of 200 entries per event with the Shannonville race expected to exceed 400 entries. Micro Max Anyone?
February 12 - SKC has received some inquiries about Rotax Micro Max, and is gauging interest in the class. Micro Max is the entry level version of Rotax Max, generating 6.7 HP at 6,500 rpm (maximum rpm is 9,000), and is aimed at the youngest drivers. Please contact Lynda Chiovitti (see the contact page) to express your interest in running this class.

BSRKC Celebrates 2007 Success, Looks Forward to 2008
January 30 - Last Saturday, the Brian Stewart Racing Karting Championship Series celebrated its second highly successful season with a superb gala banquet, and gave out the final portion of over $100,000 in cash and prizes. The BSRKC already has 190 kart numbers registered for the 2008 racing season, and is looking forward to even greater success in the upcoming year. >> Read more

BSRKC Tops 150 Entries for 2008
January 10 - As of January 10, the Brian Stewart Racing Karting Championship Series already has 152 kart numbers registered for the 2008 season. This is fantastic when you consider that in March 2007 we had 105. The organizers are extremely happy with the numbers as they are a very strong indication of the success of this growing series in 2008. >> Read more

A New Tradition Is Born
December 12 - In 2007 there was no disputing the success that the Brian Stewart Racing Karting Championship Series enjoyed, with consistently increasing numbers of entries, hard working volunteers, and exceptionally generous Sponsors. 3-S Go Karts Blow Out Sale
December 28 - Starting this Friday, December 28th 2007 at 10 a.m., 3-S Go Karts will be offering the best Boxing Day sales the karting community has ever seen. This Boxing Day sale will continue through the weekend until the end of March.

In memoriam - Dennis Morgan, 63: Wheels founder
December 24 - The BSRKC would like to extend our deepest sympathies to the family of Dennis Morgan on this sad occasion of his passing. The racing enthusiast and founder of the Toronto Star Wheels section died suddenly after an apparent heart attack. Morgan, who was to undergo a triple bypass surgery in a few weeks, was 63, and is survived by his wife Angelina and son Kevin.

BSRKC Granja Viana 500 Race Report
December 14 - On December 2, 2007, the Brian Stewart Racing Karting Championship Series Canadian Dream Team of Jake Collison, Tyler Hendricks, Michael Glaze, Pearce Herder and Steve Lyons, sponsored by BSRKC, MG Tires, Alfano, A to Z Capital Corp. and Andy DeFrancesco, returned from racing at the Granja Viana 500 in Brazil. BSRKC 2008 Class Structure Announced
December 10 - The Brian Stewart Racing Karting Championship Series has announced its 2008 class structure. Please note the new Junior Medium, Senior Medium and Rotax Mini Max classes, which have been added for 2008.

BSRKC Team Scores 11th Place Finish in Brazil
December 6 - After starting well back in the race, the members of the BSRKC Canadian "Dream Team" worked their way up to cross the finish line in 13th place out of 68 karts, 7 laps behind the winner who completed 581 laps. The fourth and fifth place teams were subsequently disqualified for clutch irregularities, promoting the BSRKC team to a well-deserved 11th place. Congratulations to Steve, Pearce, Tyler, Jake and Michael! A full race report will follow after the drivers return.

BSRKC Team in Brazil - Photo Gallery
December 4 - Photos continue to roll in from the all-Canadian team competing in the Granja Viana 500 race in Brazil. The team was chosen from competitors in the Brian Stewart Racing Karting Championship Series. This outstanding prize for five drivers was sponsored by A to Z Capital Corp., Andy DeFrancesco, BSRKC and MG Tires. Members of the team included Michael Glaze, Pearce Herder, Jake Collison, Tyler Hendricks and Steve Lyons.
